Andrea Navedo

Andrea Navedo is an American actress who is also a published author. She had a successful career acting in television. Her first appearance was on the morning soap operas One Life to Live & Guiding Light. Andrea Navedo (born 10 October 1978 in the Bronx area of New York) is an American actor and a singer. Navedo started her career as an actor in soaps that aired on daytime television. From 1995 until 1997 she starred as Linda Soto on the ABC soap show One Life to Live. She joined in the CBS soap Guiding Light in 1999 as Theresa Sandoval. The actress began her career as a film actress with a role of Girl 6 (1996), then she starred on the episodes New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo was in Double Take, an action-comedy film that debuted in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the year after. Navedo was a regular character in the NBC Crime series Law & Order, as Detective Ana Cordova from 2001-2004. Later he starred as Detective Ana Cordova on Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages. Navedo was also in a variety of films such as El Cantante and Remember Me. From 2011 until 2013, Navedo played recurring roles in How to Make It in America Golden Boy and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. Superfast! was her first film. The Fast and the Furious comedy released in 2015 was a parody of the Fast and Furious series of movies. Navedo began her acting career with soap operas that aired in the daytime. Between 1995 and 1997, she portrayed the character Linda Soto in the ABC soap show One Life to Live. In 1999, she became a part of CBS's soap-opera Guiding Light. The actress made her debut in the film industry by appearing in Girl 6 (1996), later on she was invited to on New York Undercover and The District. Navedo was first seen in a film in Girl 6 (1996) as well as later appearing on episodes of New York Undercover as well as The District.
