It is believed that the Jackson Koehler Eagle Brewery was founded in Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 by her family. John Martin Magenau Jr. is the President and Chief Executive Officer of this brewery from its establishment in Erie Pennsylvania in 1847 until 1978. Jacobs was a regular at the Pittsburgh Playhouse on Saturdays to learn acting lessons. In the ages of 8 she began studying acting. Mt. Jacobs was a graduate of Lebanon High School, New York in 2000. After that, she relocated to New York City to pursue studies in the Juilliard School. She earned a bachelor's degree in 2004, after graduation from Lebanon High School.
